Lot Essay:
Part of the most coveted timepieces of Vacheron Constantin’s contemporary production, the reference 4300V/120R is one of the grail examples for collectors of the Overseas model. Building on this foundation, the Overseas collection was first introduced in 1996, as the more contemporary interpretation of the original 222 design. The overall philosophy and several design features of the 222 – such as the notched bezel, angular integrated bracelet and overall luxurious yet industrial feel – have been transmitted onto the Overseas collection.
Offered in excellent overall condition from a private collector, the present pink gold version of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar is both visually striking and highly wearable, yet at the same time a complicated and significant Vacheron Constantin heritage timepiece. The overall appeal is enhanced by the stunning skeletonized dial, revealing the intricacy of the perpetual calendar mechanism.

On all lots we charge 26% of the hammer price up to and including CHF 900,000, 21.0% on that part of the hammer price over CHF 900,000 and up to and including CHF 6,000,000, and 15.0% of that part of the hammer price above CHF 6,000,000.
Hong Kong based Auctions-
On all lots we charge 26% of the hammer price up to and including HK$7,500,000, 21% on that part of the hammer price over HK$7,500,000 and up to and including HK$50,000,000, and 15% of that part of the hammer price above HK$50,000,000.
United States and Dubai based Auctions-
On all lots we charge 26% of the hammer price up to and including US$1,000,000, 21.0% on that part of the hammer price over US$1,000,000 and up to and including US$6,000,000, and 15.0% of that part of the hammer price above US$6,000,000.
